Faux Stone DIY Exterior Skirting

A home’s foundation is a crucial part of it, but it is usually an ugly and unsightly concrete that can detract from the beauty of a home. That is why projects that cover up that unsightly foundation with a DIY skirting with our faux stone are some of the most popular exterior projects we see from our customers. GenStone customer Taylor decided to complete a DIY skirting project surrounding the entire exterior of his home using our Northern Slate Stacked Stone panels. Taylor chose the Northern Slate faux stone because it matches his home siding so beautifully. DIY skirting projects are popular among homeowners because of how quickly and easily they can boost the curb appeal of a home’s exterior.

Part of what drew Taylor to GenStone was the ease of installation. Depending on the size of your project, you can potentially finish installation in a single weekend. Taylor is about 25 hours into his project currently and still has a little bit more to complete before he is done. The lightweight panels allow you to complete a project without the need for professional help – saving you time and money.

Why GenStone

GenStone’s faux stone panels are an excellent addition to any DIY project for your home and business. Our lightweight panels are easy to install and cast from natural stone, ensuring an authentic look and feel.
