GenStone

The Beauty of Stone Made Easy.

We designed GenStone stone veneer panels to provide a true do-it-yourself stone veneer siding product. Originally introduced in 2002, our panelized system has become a mainstay in the home improvement market, as DIY homeowners and contractors realized GenStone provided an authentic looking stone, rock and brick for about half the cost of traditional masonry work. The GenStone system is based upon an easy to install combination of stone veneer panels and our concept has quickly spread throughout the United States and Canada making GenStone the most popular alternative to natural stone.

What Makes GenStone Different?

Contractor quality, do-it-yourself friendly.

What good is faux stone if it won’t last? And what use is it to the average homeowner if GenStone can’t be installed easily? The answer is, faux stone was never a reliable alternative to natural stone before GenStone. Where others took shortcuts, we spent decades perfecting our faux stone panels. As a result, we developed a faux stone paneling system that is known for being easy to install, authentic looking and incredibly durable.

How Much Does GenStone Cost?

Not as much as it looks!

The installed cost of GenStone is typically 50% less than that of masonry stone. Even if you decided to hire a contractor to install your GenStone, the labor would cost much less than hiring a mason.

How Does GenStone Work?

It’s sort of like a puzzle.

We like to say that we’ve engineered the labor out by designing a 10 piece system that provides a solution for any obstacle you may encounter and can be easily installed using simple deck screws. Simply put, anyone can install GenStone quickly and easily.

Is GenStone Durable?

Life tested, lab approved!

Just how durable is GenStone? We ran our panels over with a two ton Jeep and smashed them with a sledgehammer in our durability videos without any sign of damage. Then we had a gamut of durability tests performed by an independent, world-class facility. GenStone products easily passed every test including acid rain, fastener pull-through, wind load and impact resistance evaluations.
