One of the most popular uses for our exterior faux stone panels is skirting around the foundation of the home. GenStone customer Bob Stuercke was looking to upgrade his home’s exterior with our Kenai Stacked Stone product. This DIY home skirting project wrapped around the lower half of the siding of the house and around the support columns for his front porch. This had a transformational effect, giving him a stone home exterior that looks like it was installed professionally, and it upped the curb appeal of the house. The Kenai Stacked Stone beautifully complements the red wood siding of the home and blends in with the home’s natural surroundings.
GenStone’s faux stone panels are great for interior and exterior home projects. They are designed to be DIY-friendly, so most projects, including a project like Bob’s home skirting can be completed easily within a single weekend. Our panels are cast from natural stone, so they have the look and feel of the real thing, but without the construction costs, extended timelines, and the mess that mortar leaves behind.
