The fireplace surround is one of the most popular projects we see from our customers, and with good reason — fireplaces can make a home feel warm and inviting. For homes that do not have one, many homeowners, including GenStone customer Ronny Zieser, choose to install an electric linear fireplace instead. Ronny used our Northern Slate Stacked Stone panels to surround his linear fireplace design in this DIY project. The blue and gray tones of the faux stone draw the eye and complement the blue linear fireplace. Ronny finished off the look with a big, gray wooden mantel.
The goal with DIY projects like these is to draw the eye and add a unique feature to a home, and Ronny certainly achieved that with linear fireplace design. Many customers assume that these projects require professional help or equipment, but our panels are designed to be DIY-friendly. In fact, many of our customers can complete their projects in just a single weekend.
GenStone’s faux stone panels are an excellent addition to any home or business DIY project. Our lightweight panels are easy to install and cast from natural stone, ensuring an authentic look and feel.
