Accent walls are a great way to bring some extra life to a room. Bigger is often better when it comes to these projects, and this GenStone customer did it right, covering the kitchen breakfast nook with our Desert Sunrise Stacked Stone panels. The kitchen accent wall establishes a stark contrast against the white table and chairs, making the breakfast nook stand out. It also blends perfectly with the flooring, making it a perfect DIY kitchen accent wall project.
While painting a kitchen accent wall and filling it with art, shelving, or other interesting finds is certainly an option, a stone wall will almost always make a greater impact on the look and feel of a space. Many in the DIY community shy away from a stacked stone wall like this breakfast nook because of the expense and because most weekend warriors lack masonry skills. This stacked stone accent wall is arguably as easy to accomplish as using paint to create an accent wall. Each panel is extremely lightweight, can be cut to size with an ordinary table saw, and attached with screws.
GenStone’s faux stone panels are an excellent addition to any interior or exterior project. Our lightweight panels are easy to install and cast from natural stone, ensuring an authentic look and feel.
