William finished the bottom of his wooded cabin by wrapping the skirting in GenStone Iron Ore stacked stone. Dark charcoal and cool grey tones now run the full length of the base under honey-toned log-style siding, tying the screened porch and steps into a solid stone line at grade.
Iron Ore’s tight stacked profile adds outdoor shadow lines along the long side wall, so the cabin reads finished from the gravel pad up instead of showing open undercarriage. The panels meet the wood siding in a clean horizontal band around the porch and windows.
Iron Ore skirting is a practical cabin and manufactured-home upgrade when you want dark stacked stone at the foundation without a mason. GenStone panels install with basic tools and no mortar.
GenStone panels are rated for outdoor foundation wraps and skirting when installed over a flat, sound substrate. Seat interlocking edges, seal cut edges with the color-matched paint kit, and use outdoor-rated adhesive and caulk so Iron Ore stays tight through weather cycles.
