Faux Stone DIY Foundation Cover Up

One of the most popular exterior applications of our faux stone panels is skirting projects. If you are unfamiliar with skirting, it is a design technique to cover exposed brick or concrete often used for the foundation. Concrete is functional, but it lacks the beauty of our panels, which is why when GenStone customer Ronald wanted to cover up his foundation, he chose our Desert Sunrise Stacked Stone panels for the DIY project. The faux stone looks beautiful on Ronald’s home, and the ugly foundation of his home is now covered up.

One of the biggest advantages of using faux stone panels for a DIY foundation cover up project is the ease of installation. Natural stone requires professional labor and equipment, contributing to a more expensive project as well as an extended timeline.

Why GenStone

GenStone’s faux stone panels are an excellent addition to any interior or exterior project. Our lightweight panels are easy to install and cast from natural stone, ensuring an authentic look and feel.

Each one of our faux stone panels is produced by compressing a combination of polyurethane and color oxides into our proprietary stone molds. The result is the most authentic stone veneer product in the industry.

Customer review
Looks great. Very easy to work with. Lots of neighbors asking what it is so they can cover their ugly foundations as well.
