DIY Patio Pillars

GenStone products are great for big projects as well as subtle additions. Customer Linda H. took advantage of our easy-to-install pillar kits to complete a beautiful yet simple patio project. The Desert Sunrise Stacked Stone panels easily screw into existing pillars, making this project a low-stress, high-impact DIY patio pillars project. The Desert Sunrise looks like it was always part of the pergola on her patio, and Linda used the leftovers to make some matching flower pots. This project leaves Linda with a beautiful patio to relax on since the post wraps tie the entire look together.

Part of what drew Linda to GenStone was that it has the look and feel of natural stone, but without the weight, which would have been too much for her pergola. This project shows that even something small can make a significant impact on a home’s look.

Why GenStone

GenStone products are an excellent addition to any interior or exterior project, like these pillars in this backyard. Our panels are easy to install and cast from natural stone, ensuring an authentic look and feel. Many projects, including these patio pillars, can be completed in a single weekend!

Customer review
"We applied the panels around 6 inch posts. We had to frame it out to fit 8 inches but was fairly simple with wood strips. Very happy with the way this turned out. Using real stone was not an option since the patio does not have footings and the weight would have been to much. This product was perfect and the customer service was excellent!!!”
