GenStone vs Versetta Stone
"I wouldn't trust myself to put this on a wall and it just not fall off"
-Will
This focus group was assembled for the purpose of comparing and contrasting different faux stone producers. Some of the criteria to judge each product was appearance, material, and installation process. Not a single person on this focus group was hand-picked. Every individual had not heard or seen any of the products used. These are their personal, authentic opinions.
Versetta Stone
GenStone
Versetta Stone
Versetta Stone is a stone veneer that is mortarless and cement based. Its design can be installed with mechanical fasteners which allows contractors and carpenters to recreate stone masonry. A mixture of concrete, basic aggregate, water, and mineral oxide pigments create the look of stone.
GenStone
Established in 2003, GenStone manufacturers a full collection of stone and brick colors including easy to install panels, corners, ledgers, trim, pillars and columns. The majority of the materials used to formulate GenStone panels are sourced in the United States which are then cast and hand painted by artisans in Mexico.
