Faux Stone DIY Skirting

When you are remodeling your home, you need to give it something special to make it truly yours and give it that perfect finishing touch. GenStone customer Horaldo was working on updating his home exterior and selected our Northern Slate Stacked Stone panels as a DIY skirting. As you can see in the before and after photos, the faux stone completely transformed Horaldo’s home, enhancing it and significantly boosting its curb appeal.

If you are unfamiliar with skirting, it is a design technique to cover exposed brick or concrete often used for the foundation. Concrete is functional, but it lacks the beauty of our faux stone panels, which is why Horaldo chose them for his DIY skirting.

One of the biggest advantages of faux stone, as opposed to natural stone, is the lack of maintenance required after installation. Where natural stone can chip and crack, our faux stone panels have been professionally tested for durability – ensuring that your project will remain as installed.

Why GenStone

GenStone products are an excellent addition to any home or business DIY project. Our panels are easy to install and cast from natural stone, ensuring an authentic look and feel.

Customer review
We had been working on updating our house, and this addition of Genstone really sealed the deal, especially with the wife.
