The GenStone 90º Outside Corner panel can also be used to create a stone column. As opposed to GenStone Pillar Panels which are designed to encase an 8-inch square post, 4 Outside Corners fit seamlessly around a 17-inch square post.
If your post is less than 17 inches on each side, you can fur the post out with wood strips on each side before attaching the panels. Each Outside Corner also provides 22.50 inches of height coverage making measuring how many panels you will need easy.
To determine how many panels you need, measure the height of your column in inches and then divide that measurement by 22.50 in order to find out how many rows of 4 corner panels you will need.
