DIY Faux Stone Bedroom Accent Wall

When renovating a home, our product line is an excellent addition to replace old features that may be unsightly. GenStone customer John has been completely remodeling his home from the 1960s, and in his bedroom there was a wall with an unsightly checkerboard pattern on it that had seen better days. John selected our Northern Slate Stacked Stone panels to complete this DIY bedroom accent wall. As you can see in the before and after photos in John’s video, the wall was a complete transformation.

John chose GenStone because of the ease of installation and affordable price. The only problem John had with the installation was that the wall was 14 feet tall, and he had to install the top part of the wall. There is also a hidden door behind the wall, and he was happy with how easy it was to cut out space for the hidden doorknob.

Depending on the size of your project, you can potentially finish installation in a single weekend. The lightweight panels allow you to complete a project without the need for professional help – saving you time and money.

Why GenStone

GenStone’s faux stone panels are an excellent addition to any interior or exterior project. Our lightweight panels are easy to install and cast from natural stone, ensuring an authentic look and feel.
