Edward refreshed the front of his home by covering the first-floor facade in GenStone Iron Ore stacked stone. Dark charcoal and cool grey tones now wrap the entry, windows, and wall under beige upper lap siding, with white trim drawing a clean line at the second story.
Iron Ore’s tight stacked profile adds shadow lines across the facade in daylight and under the new wall sconces at night, so the front wall reads as real stone instead of flat siding. The panels run from the foundation line to the upper trim and meet the brick steps and white door surround with a sharp edge.
Iron Ore front siding is a strong curb-appeal upgrade when you want a dark stacked-stone first floor without hiring a mason. GenStone panels install with basic tools and no mortar, so a full front wrap finishes faster than traditional stone.
GenStone panels are rated for outdoor walls, including full front cladding and exterior wainscots. Install over a flat, sound substrate, seat interlocking edges, and seal cut edges with the color-matched paint kit. Use outdoor-rated adhesive and caulk so Iron Ore stays tight through weather cycles.
