Faux Stone Floor To Ceiling Fireplace Surround
One of the most popular projects that we see from our customers is a DIY fireplace surround. GenStone customer Bennett Christianson recently bought his home, and the walls in his living room were boring and white. He decided to add some color to his living room by installing a floor-to-ceiling fireplace surround using our Iron Ore Stacked Stone panels to make it stand out more than the white drywall that was surrounding it. Bennett is happy with how it came out and that it just pops.
One of the reasons that Bennett used GenStone was for the ease of installation. He was impressed by how easy it was to cut and install — the entire project only took a single weekend! The only issue Bennett had with this floor-to-ceiling fireplace surround was the high ceiling, but he made it work beautifully.
